About Domestic Papers & Lee Steiner I'm a book artist and hand-papermaker with my own studio for the last twenty-something years. In my papermaking, I use pure cotton fibers and recycled ingredients to create unique handmade papers. My papers can be used for collage, painting, stationery, and bookbinding. I have made custom papers for artists' special projects and I have taught many people this fascinating skill. Working with paper naturally led to books. Bookbinding is fun, satisfying, and addictive and I like to say, "I can make a book out of anything!" I've made books from cereal boxes, CDs, and coasters, among other things.
